Penn State Capital Day

Keep Penn State strong by advocating for higher education funding at Capital Day!

Join fellow Penn Staters on March 22 in Harrisburg for Penn State Capital Day 2017. Be a part of the proud chorus of voices “speaking up for Penn State.”

As in past years, #PSUCapitalDay will help dedicated Penn Staters meet with their state legislators and take part in a high-visibility, high-energy rally in the state Capitol rotunda. During their office visits, volunteers will tell  legislators how state appropriations help Penn State students and the Commonwealth at large. During the “Rally in the Rotunda,” always a high point of Capital Day, volunteers will show their pride in their University and enjoy Penn State Creamery ice cream.

Penn State Lehigh Valley students interested in attending can sign up in room 214 or room 218. A $5 fee for bus transportation will be collected at the time of registration. The Student Government Association is sponsoring a bus.

The bus to Harrisburg will depart from the Lehigh Valley campus at 6:45 a.m. The bus will return to campus at approximately 4:00 p.m. Register online to RSVP to an appointment with local legislators.
