Information session on benefits for past and current service members announced

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley and the PSU-LV Student Veteran Organization will hold a Veterans Town Hall event to discuss the benefits and services available for veterans and active service members, from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 14. The information session will be held at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus located at 2809 Saucon Valley Road in Center Valley and will feature Ret. Colonel David Brown.

All veterans, service members, family members and friends are welcome to participate in this open discussion featuring frequently asked questions about obtaining benefits and services. Qualifications for medical benefits, and how to acquire a veteran ID and obtain service documents, will be addressed and more. There will be on site availability to enroll with the VA Healthcare System and/or initiate a disability claim.
