Summer Session 1

  • Registration: Open Now - Ongoing until classes are filled
  • Classes Begin: May 8
  • Drop/Add Period: May 8 - May 10
  • Intent to graduate: May 8 - June 16
  • Late Registration and Late Drop Begin: May 11
  • No classes: Memorial Day - May 29
  • Late Drop Deadline*: June 8
  • Withdrawal Deadline**: June 16
  • Final Exams: June 19 (or as announced)
  • Declare a Minor (if graduating Summer 2017): August 1
  • File Leave of Absence to Begin Fall 2017: August 18
  • Classes Begin for Fall 2017: August 21

Summer Session II

  • Registration: Open Now - Ongoing until classes are filled
  • Classes Begin: June 21
  • Drop/Add Period: June 21 - June 23
  • Intent to graduate: May 8 - June 16
  • Late Registration and Late Drop Begin: June 24
  • No classes - Independence Day – July 4
  • Late Drop Deadline*: July 24
  • Withdrawal Deadline**: August 2
  • Final Exams: August 3 (or as announced)
  • Declare a Minor (if graduating Summer 2017): August 1
  • File Leave of Absence to Begin Fall 2017: August 18
  • Classes Begin for Fall 2017: August 21

To view regular and late drop deadlines for courses not offered within the above session dates, log into your LionPATH Student Services Center and select schedule, then course drop dates. For questions, contact the Registrar's Office, Room 107, or call 610-285-5060.

*LATE DROP DEADLINE: If a student is enrolled in more than one course, a drop or late drop (depending on the date) will apply.

**WITHDRAWAL DEADLINE: If a student is enrolled in only one course, a summer-only withdrawal must be filed by 5:00 p.m. on the last day of the session in which the course is offered.

Tuition Adjustment Schedule

A refund will be made according to the Tuition Adjustment Schedule:

Session I 

May 17 – 21 – 70%
May 24 – 28 – 40%
May 31 – June 4 – 20%
June 7 or Later – 0%

Session II

June 28 – July 2 – 70%
July 5 – 9 – 40%
July 12 – 16 – 20%
July 19 or Later – 0%
