Penn State Lehigh Valley students spent the week of Spring Break volunteering across the Lehigh Valley through the Mini-Days of Caring program organized by the Office of Student Affairs.

Members of the Community Heroes Service Club and advisers delivered more than 100 activity bags to the Child Life Specialists at Lehigh Valley Health Network. The bags were made by PSU-LV students on Valentine's Day and included crafts, stickers, crayons, notepads and other boredom busters for children.

The annual Thanksgiving food drive at Penn State Lehigh Valley was such a success that after purchasing enough food to feed nearly 50 families the campus was able to donate more than $1,200 to the Sixth Street Shelter in Allentown.
