Penn State alumni and friends are invited to a special weekend in downtown Bethlehem July 29-30 for Blue & White Night and Penn State Lehigh Valley Day.
A new cluster of courses offered at Penn State Lehigh Valley is designed to improve English reading and writing skills, while students also gain study skills to be successful in college. The Multilingual Student Course Cluster is primarily a support program for multilingual and multicultural students.
Joe Sullivan, a 2016 Penn State graduate, was a marketing major who minored in supply chain and information sciences and technology. He graduated from Penn State’s Smeal College of Business and Schreyer Honors College in May after spending his first two years at Penn State Lehigh Valley as part of the 2+2 program.
Eight students from Penn State Commonwealth campuses traveled to China with the CHANCE program last July to research the pollution of and restoration efforts needed to preserve the Yangtze River watershed.
A special Blue and White Night event will be held at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in August to welcome home and celebrate Penn State Olympic cyclists.
The Ronald K. De Long Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents “William & David Gothard, Father & Son, Humor and Pathos,” which runs Aug. 22 to Oct. 10. An artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 8 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The exhibit and reception are both free and open to the public.
