When Chloee Dahl was cleaning out her bedroom recently, she learned about a book drive Penn State Lehigh Valley Benefiting THON was holding in support of children with cancer and decided to donate 75 of her books to the cause.
When students enter the library at Penn State Lehigh Valley, they are now greeted by several lounge chairs and working spaces overlooking the courtyard. This new space allows for 12 students to comfortably work and study.
Howard Kulp (center), who is a longtime donor and past PSU-LV Advisory Board Chair, posed with Chancellor Tina Q. Richardson and PSU-LV Athletic Director Rich Fatzinger at the Sixth Annual PSU-LV Golf Tournament held June 4 at Northampton Country Club. Fatzinger announced at the tournament that moving forward the tournament will now be named the “Penn State Lehigh Valley Howard Kulp Invitational Golf tournament,” after Kulp.
Penn State Lehigh Valley Advisory Board Past Chair Howard Kulp donated $2,000 to Penn State Lehigh Valley Benefiting THON. Development Assistant and Stewardship Coordinator of Penn State Lehigh Valley Sharon Neders presented the check at the event on Feb. 15 to Penn State Lehigh Valley's THON Chair Devrajsinh Jadeja. PSU-LV Benefiting THON students held a book drive on campus for the St. Luke's Reading Rocks program and Kulp donated one dollar per book collected.
