Gallery Exhibit: Penn State Lehigh Valley Student Exhibition

Public reception will unveil gallery featuring local college students’ work

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Ronald K. De Long Gallery and the Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley present the work of nearly 100 local students who studied studio art during Fall 2017 and Spring 2018 in its Student Art Exhibition, which runs April 9-May 9. The annual exhibition highlights excellent student work created in visual studies courses at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

The gallery reception will be held Wednesday, April 18, from noon to 2 p.m. Student artists and faculty will be present to discuss their work, and music will be performed by Luke Williams.

The exhibition features works created in drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, metalwork, ceramics, sculpture and graphic design courses under the instruction of Greta Bergstresser, Ron De Long, Christina Galbiati, Ann Lalik and Corianne Thompson. 

The exhibit and reception are both free and open to the public. 

Gallery hours are 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday; 11 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday; and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday; and closed Sundays. For more information, contact Ann Lalik, gallery director, at [email protected] or 610-285-5261.
