The Lehigh Valley Chapter of the Penn State Alumni Association donated $15,000 to Penn State Lehigh Valley's fundraising campaign, "A Greater Penn State for 21st Century Excellence." This donation kicks off the Chapter's support of the Lehigh Valley campus's campaign. Penn State is moving toward a University-wide health insurance requirement for the 2018-19 academic school year. In preparation for the new requirement, University Health Services (UHS) will begin collecting student health insurance information in May 2017.
Penn State Alumnus, Shane McGee, and his wife, Katelyn Powers, have provided the gift to create the Penn State Lehigh Valley McGee Scholarship, a scholarship in support of Penn State Lehigh Valley students.
