Penn State Lehigh Valley to offer SAT review course beginning Jan. 5

The next SAT course will begin March 3 and run to April 28, 2018 at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus in Center Valley.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State Lehigh Valley will offer a comprehensive SAT review course taught by Penn State instructors to help prepare test takers for the SAT exam. The course will begin Jan. 5, 2019, and run to Feb. 23. Classes will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays at the Lehigh Valley campus in Center Valley. The course fee is $299.

“This comprehensive program, taught by experienced Penn State instructors, will improve student’s comfort level with the exam process and guide them toward improving their test scores,” said Andrea Tessier, director of community outreach and engagement at Penn State Lehigh Valley. “We know college admission is one of the most significant milestones in a student’s life, and this course can help with the process.”

Participants will develop effective critical reading and writing strategies, review essential mathematical skills and concepts, discover proven test-taking techniques, and gain instructional help and feedback with the concepts covered.
