Throughout the year, Penn State offers a variety of options to help prospective students learn about Penn State, navigate the application process, and complete next steps after applying.

These programs are typically announced eight to ten weeks before each event. Be sure to check regularly for new event listings and opportunities to get involved.

Fall 2025 Events

Application Nights 

  • This event is for prospective students applying for spring, summer or fall 2026. Apply to any Penn State campuses, receive an application fee waiver, and get your questions answered by Penn State admissions counselors.
  • This event is only for students applying through the MyPennState application. If you are applying through the Common App, you will not be able to complete the application or work on the Self-Reported Transcript Academic Record (STAR) at our event.
  • **High school seniors should bring an unofficial high school transcript to fill out the Self-Reported Academic Record section of the application.**
  • To accommodate as many students as possible, please limit your guest count to a maximum of two people.

Admissions Information Session

This presentation will give you an overview of the Penn State admissions process, including pathways to getting your degree, how to apply, and academic opportunities at the University. A campus tour will be given at the end of the presentation.

November 14, 2025 3:00-5:00pm 

December 12, 2025 3:00-5:00pm 

Transfer Information Session 

Students interested in transferring to Penn State are invited to attend a Transfer Information Session at the Lehigh Valley campus. If you have completed more than 18 college credits, join us to learn about the transfer admissions process and complete the Penn State application with the help of our admissions counselors. 

Your application fee will be waived by attending this program if you have not already paid.

Student Aid Information Session

Looking for more understanding on how student aid works? How can student aid assist you with paying for your educational pursuits? We will discuss federal aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), state aid as well as scholarship opportunities. Prospective students and their families are invited to join us on campus for this event.

Campus Tours 

Campus tours will begin the first week of September for the Fall 2025 semester.

Our campus tours allow you to explore our state-of-the-art science labs, incredible library and fitness center, and vibrant campus life. Tours are led by Lion Ambassadors, current students who will answer all your questions about studying at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

  • On-Campus Tours: Experience our beautiful campus in person.
  • Virtual Tours: Take a guided virtual tour led by Penn State Lehigh Valley students and alumni, or explore on your own.
