Dr. Tina Q. Richardson | Chancellor
Serves as chief executive officer, principal academic leader, and primary spokesperson for the campus; oversees development and philanthropic efforts, strategic planning, budgeting, and community outreach; and assures quality of academic programs in teaching, research, and service.
Dr. Aníbal Torres Bernal | Chief Academic Office
Responsible for curriculum development and review; faculty development, hiring, and promotion and tenure; and faculty integration of research and service. He oversees academic assessment, internships, budget management, academic policy and practice, academic standards, and overall representation of the academic interests of the campus.
Aurora Brunovsky | Interim Regional Human Resource Strategic Partner
The Regional Human Resource Strategic Partner is responsible for leading human resources functions for the Berks, Lehigh Valley and Schuylkill campuses. This includes recruitment, job classification, compensation, employee relations, professional development, rewards and recognition, and diversity initiatives. The Regional Director is responsible for aligning and executing HR strategy within the campus strategic plan and leading the implementation of Human Resources programs and services. In addition, the Director serves as a strategic advisor to campus leadership on staffing and organizational plans; provides counsel on policies and practices; investigates and mediates complex human resources issues; and serves as an advocate for employee issues.
Tom Dubreuil | Director of Student Affairs
Responsible for residence life and campus life, health services, career and personal counseling, intramural and varsity athletics, judicial affairs, diversity initiatives, student leadership, disability services, orientation, and support services for multicultural and international students.
Cindy Evans | Director of Business Development, Lehigh Valley LaunchBox
Responsible for developing and implementing programs that support the needs of early-stage entrepreneurs in the region. The Director acts as a Penn State liaison working with local organizations in the community and connecting entrepreneurs to the resources available through Penn State University to help them launch their business. Programs and services offered include start-up bootcamps, Mastermind programs, informational speakers’ series, pitch competitions and microgrant awards, coworking space, teen entrepreneur camps, and access to free legal services through the PSU Entrepreneur Law Clinic and the Intellectual Property Law Clinic. The Lehigh Valley LaunchBox also provides ongoing mentorship and business advising to entrepreneurs through our network of industry professionals, faculty and economic development professionals.
Patricia Hevia | Director of Development and Alumni Relations
The Director of Development & Alumni Relations is responsible for providing leadership, strategic direction, management and coordination for all campus fundraising efforts. The director plays a key role in identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donors to ensure the campus’s programs and goals are realized. They also oversee alumni outreach and engagement.
Kristy Hove | Director of Planning & Analysis | Interim Director of Enrollment Management
The Director of Planning and Analysis is responsible for a wide range of analysis and planning processes, including the development of various campus strategic plans and reports and the collection of data to support campus initiatives, including surveys, research studies, and assessment of campus and departmental progress. The position works to create a shared vision for the advancement of campus and University goals and provides strategy for wide-scale projects and decision-making.
The Interim Director of Enrollment Management oversees the University’s recruitment, enrollment, and retention of students, including the enrollment of a more diverse and inclusive student body. The director develops, communicates, and oversees processes, procedures, and goals associated with providing a wide array of consultative services to prospective and current students and their families. This specialty covers the strategic and operational management for activities and services related to the successful recruitment, enrollment and transition of students through the institution.
LizBeth Johnson | Director of Information and Instructional Technology
The Director of Information and Instructional Technology (ITS) provides the strategic and operational management of academic technology guidance and consulting, technology support, campus systems and infrastructure, and related activities. The ITS team also consults with faculty and staff to research, resource, and leverage technology to optimize operations, teaching, and learning.
Kathryn Pitts | Faculty Affairs Coordinator
The Faculty Affairs Coordinator is responsible for the recruitment process and all personnel actions for both full-time and part-time faculty members. In addition, the coordinator provides direct administrative support for the Director of Academic Affairs.
Katie Schneck | Financial Officer & Director of Business Services
The Financial Officer is the administrative position through which all fiscal events occur. The position is responsible for assuring that all financial and budgetary operations are performed properly and in a timely manner. Financial Officer is responsible for the control and maintenance of the budgets in accordance with allocation provisions, budget policy and regulations as well as the control of budget expenditures within the allocated amount and authorized regulations governing the campus. The office is also responsible for the Bursar Office where student financial services are provided to students.
Sharon Tercha | Director of Strategic Communications
The Director of Strategic Communications serves as the campus spokesperson and media liaison, and oversees advertising, sponsorships, web content, and social media for the campus and its programs. This office is also responsible for ensuring that University editorial style and graphics identity programs are applied to all forms of external communications to maintain University editorial and visual standards at our campus.
Andrea Tessier | Manager of Community Outreach and Engagement | Sr. Director of Statewide Continuing Education & Workforce Development
The Director of Community Outreach and Engagement serves as a leader and Penn State liaison across the greater Lehigh Valley. The Director leads a team focused on meeting the needs of the current, future, and incumbent workforce through the development and delivery of educational programming. This position serves as the campus' community collaborator, working with community members and leaders to bring the expertise, research, and resources of Penn State University to bear on pressing problems, including workforce and economic development. In addition, the Director collaborates with the campus community to develop programs that will provide a pathway for students and a gateway to our academic degree programs.
Debbie Zuech-Smyrl | Executive Assistant to the Chancellor
Responsible for a wide range of operational activities for the office of the chancellor including direct administrative coordination for the chancellor and the Chancellor’s Council. This position is a liaison to community boards and the Office of the Vice President of Commonwealth Campuses.
