Penn State Lehigh Valley head women's basketball coach Lorie Khalil and players Sage Christopher, Samantha Columna and Tazjahne Moore will travel to Argentina at the end of June as part of a team put together by STUDENTathleteWorld. The team will arrive in Buenos Aires on June 25 for 10-day stay in the country that will include a series of games against several professional Argentinian basketball clubs.
Continuing its commitment to the broader community, Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Ronald K. De Long Gallery will host this year’s Parkland Art League Members Exhibition. The exhibit will run Monday, May 23, to Friday, July 8, when the De Long Gallery will hold a closing reception from 1 to 3 p.m.
Lehigh Valley LaunchBox powered by Penn State recently celebrated the achievements of local entrepreneur Kathryn C. Worrilow, founder and CEO of the health care technology company LifeAire Systems, at its annual LaunchBox Ladies Ambassadors Circle event on May 12.
This year, four female students received their bachelor’s degrees from Penn State Lehigh Valley's Project and Supply Chain Management program, the most ever since the program’s inception. The graduates are Sophie Adams, Ytzelk Carbuccia, Sundeep Kaur and Victoria Stopper.
