Throughout the year, Penn State offers a variety of admissions events and campus tours to help prospective students learn about Penn State, navigate the application process, and complete next steps after applying.

Admissions events are announced eight to ten weeks before each event. Please register in advance. We can't wait to welcome you to campus!

Penn State Lehigh Valley Communications Showcase Night

Join us to hear more information about the new Communications degree available at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

Hear from faculty, industry and community partners about the uniqueness of this new communications degree. Admissions and Student Aid staff will be available to discuss your next steps to pursue this exciting program.

Penn State Day Open House

Our Penn State Day Fall Open House event is perfect for students interested in learning more about Penn State and the Lehigh Valley campus. Presentations will include information on admissions and financial aid, student life, and academics. Breakout sessions and a campus tour will be part of the day's events as well!

Application Workshops

This event is only for students applying through the MyPennState application. If you are applying through the Common App you will not able to complete the application or work on the Self-Reported Transcript Academic Record at our event.

This event is for prospective students applying for spring, summer or fall 2027. Apply to any of our campuses, receive a application fee waiver, and get your questions answered by Penn State admissions counselors.

**High school seniors should bring an unofficial high school transcript either hard copy or electronic to fill out the Self-Reported Transcript Academic Record section of the application.**

Transfer Workshop

Students interested in transferring to Penn State are invited to attend a Transfer Information Session at the Lehigh Valley campus. If you have completed more than 18 college credits, join us to learn about the transfer admissions process and complete the Penn State application with the help of our admissions counselors. Your application fee will be waived by attending this program if you have not already paid.

 FAFSA Completion Workshop

Prospective students and their families interested in applying for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for Fall 2027 through Spring/Summer 2028 are invited to join us on campus for a FAFSA Completion Night. 

Please be sure to bring the following information for both parents and students to help you complete your FAFSA application: 
 

  •  FSA ID (fsaid.ed.gov) 

  •  Social Security Numbers 

  •  Dates of Birth 

  •  Tax/Financial Information from 2025 

  •  Address of their High School

Our campus tours allow you to explore our state-of-the-art science labs, incredible library and fitness center, and vibrant campus life. Tours are led by Lion Ambassadors, current students who will answer all your questions about studying at Penn State Lehigh Valley.
