Virtuous Ai-Use Framework: A Matrix for Ethical Ai Use

Ai and Academic Integrity (Article)

This session brings together insights from ongoing research on AI in higher education, specifically what Penn State faculty, staff and students are actually doing with AI, what values and concerns are emerging, and how different units (like Behrend) are responding.

Drawing from multiple studies, including surveys and reflections from the Behrend AI Taskforce, classroom-

based projects, and statewide analyses, Dr. Tiffany Petricini will share key findings about AI use, ethical perceptions, and instructional readiness. She will also highlight Behrend’s latest initiatives in AI literacy, community partnerships, and faculty development.

The session will include time for dialogue and idea exchange about what these findings mean for teaching and governance across Penn State’s campuses.

This research presentation followed by open discussion

This session will be held on ZOOM- Session ID- 6097757805
