The evening was set to focus on entrepreneurship and the future of education — but Penn State President Neeli Bendapudi’s energy and charisma definitely doubled as the takeaway from the Penn State Lehigh Valley LaunchBox Ladies Ambassador Circle event on Nov. 16. It was the second time the new president visited the Lehigh Valley campus but the first opportunity most in the audience had to hear her speak.
Penn State Lehigh Valley students who are passionate about making the world a more equal, just and inclusive place can find support with a new initiative. The Penn State Lehigh Valley Collaborative for Research on Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion supports outstanding students who are conducting research relevant to these areas. An accompanying speaker series will showcase the students’ work.
An all-Penn State alumni panel of professionals from the health policy and administration industry will share their experiences with students during a panel discussion at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, via Zoom.
