The Contemporary Renaissance Women Artist Panel Discussion was held at the Banana Factory on June 10, 2018, and featured Penn State Lehigh Valley Gallery Director and Arts Coordinator Ann Lalik. The moderator was Martha Posner. Other panelists included Erin Anderson, Katie Hovencamp, Kiana Honarmand, Lydia Panas and Heather Sincavage. The panel was attended by artists and community art supporters and students. The panel of artists discussed overcoming gender inequality and leading as a female artist. They focused on what influences their work and motivates them. Questions from the audience spurred discussion on the opportunities that exist and advice to upcoming artists, including ways women artists support each other.
