More than $3,600 was raised to support the fight against pediatric cancer during the second Penn State Lehigh Valley Day in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Nittany Lion gathered with a group of volunteers on Main Street in Bethlehem at the start of the festivities on Aug. 1.

One of the participating businesses in Penn State Lehigh Valley Day 2015 was The Shoppe at Hotel Bethlehem, the location where customers can get their Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream locally. Penn State Lehigh Valley Advisory Board Chair Howard Kulp ’73, left, sat with Penn State Lehigh Valley Chancellor Tina Q. Richardson, right, at The Shoppe at Hotel Bethlehem and enjoyed some Berkey Creamery ice cream during the event on Aug. 1, 2015. The Creamery is celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year.

Penn State Lehigh Valley Day 2015

Penn State Lehigh Valley Day was held Aug. 1 and raised more than $3,600 for pediatric cancer research. The proceeds were a result of more than 200 alumni, friends and community members who came out to shop and dine at  Downtown Bethlehem Association (DBA) participating businesses, which donated a portion of their proceeds throughout the day. The Nittany Lion shares Penn State Lehigh Valley Day through his eyes in this video.
