Two people enjoy ice cream during Penn State Lehigh Valley Day.

One of the participating businesses in Penn State Lehigh Valley Day 2015 was The Shoppe at Hotel Bethlehem, the location where customers can get their Penn State Berkey Creamery ice cream locally. More than $3,600 was raised to support the fight against pediatric cancer during the second Penn State Lehigh Valley Day in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The Nittany Lion gathered with a group of volunteers on Main Street in Bethlehem at the start of the festivities on Aug. 1.

State Rep. Steve Samuelson sent an official Pennsylvania House citation for Peter Behrens, assistant professor of psychology and psychology program coordinator at Penn State Lehigh Valley, honoring him on his retirement. Rosemary Hensel, left, Samuelson's legislative assistant, presented the citation to Behrens on Sept. 27 at his retirement celebration at Green Pond Country Club in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
