In honor of Women's History Month, Student Affairs along with Women Veterans Empowered & Thriving (WVE&T) will host a presentation on current issues faced by women veterans.

Join Corinna Brown, Jenny Pacanowski and Zina Bethea Dawson for an empowering experience of truth and connection. This unique performance is designed after WVE&T's empowerment writing model and emphasizes the reconnecting of civilians and veterans modeled after past warrior cultures such as the Greeks, the Romans and the Native Americans.

In our society, we often hear statistics but do not truly understand the cost of service to the women in our communities. Join us for an embodiment of the facts, statistics and real-life experiences including an important opportunity for Q&A to build community and discuss solutions.

Women Veterans Empowered & Thriving is a nonprofit reintegration program for women veterans that utilizes writing and performance to empower them to thrive in their daily life.

The presentation will be held via Zoom at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, March 3.  Click here to join with password 897327.
