Arts Project workshop series accepting registrations for spring sessions

Spring 2017 session options of the Arts Project at Penn State Lehigh Valley will be held from Jan. 16 to April 13.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Arts Project at Penn State Lehigh Valley has announced its spring 2017 session options, which will be held from Jan. 16 to April 13.

Workshops offered include: Ceramics for Beginners with Corianne Thompson; Drawing and Painting Design Fundamentals with Ron De Long; Beginning Metals and Jewelry and Advanced Metals and Jewelry with Ann Lalik; and a new six-week class, Introduction to 3D Design with Kate Morgan. This course will address the basic principles of working with a 3D printer; provide discussion on the history and future of 3D printing; and hands-on learning both with the actual printer and through the creation of unique 3D designs.

The cost for each 12-week workshop is $350. The six-week Introduction to 3D Design workshop costs $185 and runs Jan. 26 to March 2. For course descriptions and to register, visit the Arts Project website.
