High school art students to be featured in Lehigh Valley Community Gallery

Exhibition to run Aug. 29 to Oct. 13

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley will present the work of visual art majors at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts in an exhibition that's scheduled to run from Aug. 29 to Oct. 13.

An artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 6, at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The exhibit and reception are both free and open to the public.

The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley will present the work of visual art majors at the Lehigh Valley Charter High School for the Arts. The exhibit will run Aug. 29 to Oct. 13, 2018.

The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley highlights artists in the region as an outreach mechanism to artist groups, as well as to student populations. It is located on the third floor on the west wing of the building, adjacent to the Ronald K. De Long Gallery.

Gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The gallery is closed on Sundays and campus holidays.
