Summer Success Scholarships are available for Summer 2020. The purpose of the scholarship is to help students who need to take at least one summer course in order to be on track to graduate on time, but have financial challenges to doing so.
At University Park, students must meet with an academic adviser to discuss their summer plans and the scholarship application must be submitted by an academic adviser. At all other Penn State campuses, the form may be filled out by the student, or any faculty or staff member at the campus.
Students who are awarded the scholarship will receive $2,000 toward their summer tuition.
To be eligible for a scholarship, students must meet the following criteria:
- Be a current undergraduate, degree-seeking student
- Enroll in at least 3 credits for the summer at any Penn State campus
- Demonstrate that a summer course is necessary to graduate on time for their program of study
- Demonstrate financial need/challenges to paying summer tuition
The deadline to submit a scholarship application is April 17, 2020. Students will be notified by May 8, 2020 whether or not they have received the scholarship.
