To qualify for this award Recipients must have attended Penn State Lehigh Valley for one year or more. Recipients of this award would have also demonstrated leadership qualities and taken initiative in contributing positively to the Penn State Lehigh Valley community. This could include serving in leadership roles, initiating projects or activities, and inspiring fellow students.

The Alumni Spirit of Impact Award aims to recognize a Penn State Alumni who has made a significant and positive contribution to Penn State University, and specifically the Lehigh Valley Campus after graduation. This award recognizes alumni who demonstrate exceptional dedication to enhancing campus life, fostering student success, and strengthening the university’s mission through volunteerism, mentorship, advocacy, or philanthropic support.
