Naseeba Saeed was recognized with the Eric A. and Josephine Walker Award at the 2019 Student Award Ceremony held April 24 at the Lehigh Valley campus. Tom Dubreuil, director of student affairs, presented Saeed with the award at the ceremony. Saeed also was recognized as a 2018 Evan Pugh Scholar and as the Outstanding Student in Corporate Communication.

Students from Penn State Lehigh Valley won first place in the Social Sciences and Business category at the Penn State Eastern Regional Undergraduate Research Symposium at Penn State Hazleton. Their poster was titled "'Too Many People are Dying Where I am From’ Geography, Gender, and Secondary Exposures to the Opioid Epidemic.”
