Penn State Lehigh Valley Student and Cycling Club member, Justin Butsavage, is one of the top junior track cyclists in the country. He is currently the Team Pursuit National Champion and National Record holder.

Jacqueline McLaughlin was honored with the 2017 Higher Education Educator of the Year Award by the North American Association for Environmental Education.
The Penn State Lehigh Valley campus community and family of Kathy Gray came together Oct. 18 to honor Kathy, who passed away earlier this year. Kathy served as an administrative assistant for 17 years at the Lehigh Valley campus. Her husband, Gary, and granddaughter, Sarah, tied a purple ribbon — Kathy's favorite color — around the chinkapin oak tree, which was purchased with the donations to the Kathy Gray Memorial. It has been planted near the walkway between the Lion Shrine and the Student Plaza in honor of Kathy.
