Christopher Bukavich, junior information science and technology student at Penn State Lehigh Valley, recently interned at Guardian Life Insurance Company of America and said it helped him extend concepts he learned in class. "The time I spent at Guardian helped me focus and learn what skills I will be expected to have when I graduate, and gave me a great network with professionals and other college students," said Bukavich.

Thirteen veterans, including Tom Roney, participated in a Habitat for Humanity build in September 2016 in the Quang Nam province in Vietnam. Veterans represented the Vietnam War, the Gulf War, and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars.

Tina Q. Richardson, chancellor of Penn State Lehigh Valley, served as guest coach during Monday night's women's basketball game against Penn State Worthington Scranton. The team won 85 to 35."We want to thank Dr. Richardson for being our guest coach and providing the team with an inspirational pep talk before the game and sitting on the bench during the game.
