The Penn State Lehigh Valley International Food and Entrepreneur Series was held in two parts. First, a traditional Ethiopian dinner was served concluding with Ethiopian coffee and then a seminar discussion with the owners of the restaurant followed.
The International Food and Entrepreneur Series held its fourth dinner at the Lehigh Valley's only Ethiopian restaurant. Penn State Lehigh Valley students, alumni, faculty and staff attended the event.
Penn State Lehigh Valley student Carlo Acerra, of Bethlehem, won an Emmy in the Magazine Program/Special category for his editing work on FireRock Productions' "Nazareth: Resonating Through Time."
Nichola Gutgold, professor of communications arts and sciences at Penn State Lehigh Valley did a special reading of her children's book, Madam President: Five Women Who Paved the Way, to third grade students at McKinley Elementary in Allentown on Oct. 12.
Students, faculty and staff attended the kick off event at Penn State Lehigh Valley for "All In at Penn State: A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion." The event was lifestreamed from University Park. The room was transformed for the special screening. Attendees received All In pins and enjoyed popcorn and ice cream sandwiches.

“All In at Penn State: A Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion” will begin with a public event livestreamed to room 135 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The initiative aims to foster open-minded and respectful discussions.
