Penn State Lehigh Valley will host the inaugural WE ARE Lehigh Valley Homecoming Week during the week of Sept. 19. Events for alumni, students and the community will take place on campus and around the Lehigh Valley.
Twenty future science leaders from the Bosch STEEM CareerLinking Academy came to Penn State Lehigh to learn about science, technology, engineering, environment and math.
The Teen Entrepreneurship Summer Challenge was held from June 19 to June 30 and gave students the opportunity to experience life as an entrepreneur. The event culminated in a pitch competition on June 29 at the Lehigh Valley campus where students presented their ideas for new businesses.
Students from the Pathway to College and Career Readiness Program (PCCR) attended the closing ceremony at the Lehigh Valley campus on June 26. PCCR is a comprehensive program that addresses the academic needs and employment skills development of low-income, in-school high school students. The program works with 30 high school seniors who attend Dieruff, Liberty, or Freedom High School with funding provided by Career Force and the Lehigh Valley Workforce Development Board.
