A group of 12 first-year and sophomore Penn State Lehigh Valley students, who are all members of the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Society, represented three of the 15 teams chosen to compete out of 26 total teams that applied for the Deloitte Case Competition, held Feb. 1 to 3 at University Park. Dan Ventura, a senior information sciences and technology major at Penn State Lehigh Valley, said he learned valuable lessons while interning at Deloitte. "I learned innovation is key to evolving and that hard work pays off. I also learn more about the competitive and growing industry of cyber security."
The theme of the two-week seminar in D.C. was civil discourse, and it was an extension of the fall American studies course that utilized the biographies of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton.
