PSU-LV Miracle League

Rehabilitation and Human Services students along with other Penn State Lehigh Valley students participated in the annual Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley Halloween Bash on Oct. 25.  Children from the Miracle League and their families enjoyed a night of trick or treating at the Jaindl Family Park.  This is the second year PSU-LV participated.

More than 150 students, faculty and staff learned about multiple opportunities to study abroad while attending the Global Programs Fair on Oct. 18 at the Lehigh Valley campus.

A ribbon cutting was held on Oct. 18 to dedicate the new Global Engagement Space at Penn State Lehigh Valley. Penn State Lehigh Valley Student and Cycling Club member, Justin Butsavage, is one of the top junior track cyclists in the country. He is currently the Team Pursuit National Champion and National Record holder.

Kathy Gray Memorial Tree

The Penn State Lehigh Valley campus community and family of Kathy Gray came together Oct. 18 to honor Kathy, who passed away earlier this year. Kathy served as an administrative assistant for 17 years at the Lehigh Valley campus. Her husband, Gary, and granddaughter, Sarah, tied a purple ribbon — Kathy's favorite color — around the chinkapin oak tree, which was purchased with the donations to the Kathy Gray Memorial. It has been planted near the walkway between the Lion Shrine and the Student Plaza in honor of Kathy.
