CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Millionaire entrepreneur Joseph Yodock will speak at Penn State Lehigh Valley at 12:15 p.m. on April 1 in room 302 as part of Penn State Startup Week. Yodock’s session, titled “Removing Barriers To Success: Lessons From a Maverick Entrepreneur,” will share life lessons included in his new book under the same title. There will be a book signing at 1 p.m. following his presentation. Books are available for $20.
Joseph “Jo-Jo” Yodock is an American original: Born and raised in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania, he has developed thousands of acres of real estate, and hit it big with his water-filled barrier, called the Yodock Barrier, which can be seen on streets all around the world. He still resides in Bloomsburg, where he spends time with his family. He enjoys inventing, giving back to the community, traveling and sharing his learned life lessons with budding young entrepreneurs.
Now in its fourth year as a University-wide initiative, Penn State Startup Week is a weeklong celebration of entrepreneurship that connects participants with Penn State’s vast network of resources aimed at driving innovation in all fields.
The event is sponsored by Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Business Society. The event is open to the campus community. Admission is free, but space is limited.
