CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State alumni and friends are invited to a special evening on Saturday, Sept. 23, at Miller Symphony Hall in Allentown. The night, hosted by Penn State Lehigh Valley and the Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society, begins at 6 p.m. with an exclusive VIP reception in the Rodale Room before the show, “The Music of James Bond & More,” which starts at 7:30 p.m. The Allentown Symphony Orchestra and guest soloist Rachel York will be performing music from five decades of James Bond films.
VIP reception attendees will enjoy hors d’oeuvres from Karen Hunter Catering, drinks, pictures with the Nittany Lion, networking with Penn Staters, a robust silent auction and great seats for the show. Reception sponsorship opportunities are available. Proceeds benefit the Penn State Lehigh Scholarship Fund.
“We hope Penn State alumni, their families and friends, plus other community members come join us for this night out at the symphony. It is sure to be a unique experience,” said Diane McAloon, director of community and alumni outreach at Penn State Lehigh Valley. “And the best part is, it will support scholarships for our students.”
Tickets cost $80 each. For more information about the VIP reception sponsorship opportunities, or to purchase tickets, contact Diane McAloon at 610-285-5066 or [email protected] or visit the registration website.
