Isabella Hanna, a Penn State Lehigh Valley senior majoring in health policy administration, is studying the effects of the opioid epidemic on addicts' family, friends and treatment professionals, with the help of a Student Engagement Network Remote Innovation Grant.
At Penn State Lehigh Valley, students have the opportunity to work with esteemed faculty members to complete research at the undergraduate level, and students have ample opportunities to present their research and findings at conferences and regional symposiums. This year some student researchers also were published in peer-reviewed academic journals.
