Tracey Carbonetto mentored three engineering students this summer who were part of a unique undergraduate research project sponsored by the Penn State Office for Undergraduate Research Experiences.
The Council for Retail and Sales is taking the “Shark Tank” television show concept and applying it to a regional collegiate competition in retailing and sales. Undergraduate teams from two- and four-year colleges are eligible. The focus of the competition this year will be on helping Walmart grow their eCommerce business.

Lehigh Valley LaunchBox continues its educational event series focusing on the unique challenges and victories of female entrepreneurs called “LaunchBox Ladies: From Passion to Profit” with a program on Sept. 26. The topic of the program is "Women in Sports and Beyond," and the speakers will share how their sports accomplishments have led to achievements beyond their athletic disciplines.
