A draft proposal of Penn State’s institutional strategic plan has been unveiled and shared with the community for feedback and discussion. The Aegean Sea served as both a classroom and biology lab for a group of 20 students from all over the U.S. studying the environmental impact of microplastics this past summer. The Penn State Alumni Association (PSAA) has announced a $20,000 matching commitment that will grow the scholarship endowment recently established in honor of 2024 Renaissance Fund honorees Roger Williams, retired PSAA executive director, and his wife, Karen Magnuson, retired assistant director of University marketing. In recognition of the Renaissance Fund’s 55th anniversary, the PSAA will match gifts of $550 or more to any named Renaissance Fund with an equal contribution to the Roger L. Williams and Karen L. Magnuson Renaissance Fund.
Nine student leaders represented Penn State Lehigh Valley at the annual Penn State Summer Leadership Conference (SLC), held this year at Penn State Harrisburg. The goal of the SLC is to provide a challenging and motivating experience to empower emerging and established student leaders from across the Penn State network.
