Penn State Lehigh Valley hosted 20 youth girls Aug. 1 from Bosch STEEM CareerLinking Academy, which is designed to develop a future workforce pipeline in high demand, high growth industries such as manufacturing.
Twenty girls ages 10 to 12 from the Bosch STEEM CareerLinking Academy visited Penn State Lehigh Valley on Aug. 1. Jacqueline McLaughlin, associate professor of biology, and Tracy Carbonetto, instructor in engineering, both from Penn State Lehigh Valley, led them through hands-on science sessions.
The Ronald K. De Long Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents “William & David Gothard, Father & Son, Humor and Pathos,” which runs Aug. 22 to Oct. 10. An artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sept. 8 at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The exhibit and reception are both free and open to the public.
