Biography
Ryan Abramson is the Director of Strategic Communications at Penn State Lehigh Valley. He brings more than 25 years of experience in marketing, admissions, and communications leadership across Bucks County, the Lehigh Valley, and the Greater Philadelphia region. In his role at Penn State, Abramson leads strategic messaging, digital storytelling, and community engagement efforts, while also supporting institutional priorities through media relations, brand development, and public affairs.
He is skilled in strategic communications, SEO-driven digital marketing, media relations, leadership development, and enrollment management. Abramson has a proven track record of building authentic narratives that connect institutions with their communities, particularly across Bucks County and the greater Philadelphia area, while amplifying Penn State’s presence in the Lehigh Valley. He holds a B.A. in English from The Catholic University of America and an M.A. in Education from La Salle University.
Abramson was recently highlighted for joining the Strategic Communications team at Penn State Lehigh Valley.
