Penn State Lehigh Valley's annual Student Art Exhibition to begin June 26

Public reception will unveil gallery featuring local students’ work
art from students in previous years

The 2017 Student Art Exhibition at Penn State Lehigh Valley will run from June 26 to Aug. 10. The free exhibition is open to the public.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Ronald K. De Long Gallery and the Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley will present the work of nearly 100 local students who studied studio art during the fall 2016 and spring 2017 semesters in its Student Art Exhibition, set for June 26 to Aug. 10. The annual exhibition highlights excellent student work created in visual studies courses at Penn State Lehigh Valley.

A gallery reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 26.

The exhibition features works created in drawing, painting, printmaking, photography, metalwork, ceramics and graphic design courses under the instruction of Greta Brubaker, Ron De Long, Christina Galbiati, Ann Lalik and Corianne Thompson. 

The exhibit and reception are both free and open to the public.  

Summer gallery hours are 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The gallery is closed on Sundays. For more information, contact Ann Lalik, gallery director, at [email protected] or 610-285-5261.
