Lehigh Valley Writing Project to host second Mini-Best Practices conference

Teachers are invited to end the school year with a "bite-sized" Mini-Best Practices conference on May 17 at the Lehigh Valley Campus.

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — The Lehigh Valley Writing Project (LVWP) will host its second "Mini-Best Practices in Teaching Writing Conference: Finishing Strong" from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 17,  at Penn State Lehigh Valley located in Center Valley, Pennsylvania.

Teachers are invited to make connections with local educators, administrators and community members; and join LVWP Fellows and friends for an engaging evening of teacher-based strategies for finishing strong in the writing classroom.

Invitational Leadership Institute

Educators who are interested in becoming a LVWP Fellow can now apply for the six-credit Invitational Leadership Institute and join the nation-wide community of Writing Project Fellows. Applications are being accepted until June 1.
