There’s more to Penn State than University Park. In fact, through the 2+2 Plan, you can experience Penn State Lehigh Valley AND another one of our 20 campuses across the Commonwealth!
You’ll spend your first two years here, at our safe and welcoming campus, and then transition to a second campus of your choosing – including University Park -- for the remaining two years. More than 50 percent of all Penn State students choose this option, some to take advantage of our family-like atmosphere and small class sizes, others to save money or play a particular sport.
Whatever the reason you choose this option, we’re excited to welcome you to Penn State!
The 2+2 process
Once you enroll at your starting campus, you do not need to reapply to your finishing campus. Your personal academic advisor will work with you to stay on track to meet course requirements and help you complete your change-of-campus process to transition to your new location, generally at the end of your fourth semester. (Requirements are consistent across all of our Penn State campuses.)
