New courses offer support for multilingual and multicultural students

A new cluster of courses offered at Penn State Lehigh Valley is designed to improve English reading and writing skills, while students also gain study skills to be successful in college. The Multilingual Student Course Cluster is primarily a support program for multilingual and multicultural students.

The Ronald K. De Long Gallery and the Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley will present the work of close to 100 local students who studied studio art during fall 2015 and spring 2016 in its student art exhibition, which runs July 11 to Aug. 12. Second-grade students get a taste of college life

Beginning last year, each classroom at Roberto Clemente Elementary Charter School was adopted by a local college or university. Penn State Lehigh Valley adopted the second-grade class. A field trip held May 12 was a continuation of this multifaceted partnership.
