Dinner, dancing and more at July’s Blue & White Night

Special event kicks off the weekend's festivities for Penn State Lehigh Valley Day

CENTER VALLEY, Pa. — Penn State alumni and friends are invited to a special weekend in downtown Bethlehem  as the Downtown Bethlehem Association partners with Penn State Lehigh Valley for Penn State Lehigh Valley Day.

The weekend gets started with a Blue & White Night event of dinner and dancing from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday, July 29, in the Grand Ballroom at the Historic Hotel Bethlehem.

This fun night out, hosted by the Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society, will feature a buffet dinner, dancing, a cash bar, a visit from the Nittany Lion and more. Tickets cost $70 per couple or $40 per individual. Included in the ticket price is one shopping passport for the next day’s activities. Downtown businesses participating in the third annual Penn State Lehigh Valley Day on Saturday, July 30, will donate 5 percent of their sales from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. to benefit the fight against pediatric cancer. Some businesses will also be offering a special item or discount to Penn State Lehigh Valley Day passport holders.
