Evan Fahs, PSUAC Medalist with two-day total of 146, two over par. Fahs was named USCAA 1st Team All-American and PSUAC 1st Team All-Conference, along with being named PSUAC Golfer of the Week. Nick Engelman was named USCAA Academic All-American and USCAA 1st Team All-American.
Soccer clipped by Lackawanna, 3-0, in season finale
The Penn State Lehigh Valley soccer team came up short 3-0 against Lackawanna on Oct. 12 in Center Valley. This game concluded the 2017 club season for the team.
Lehigh Valley trailed 1-0 at halftime, but two scores by Lackawanna in the second half proved to be too much of a deficit for Lehigh Valley to overcome. Lehigh Valley goalkeeper, Jared Serafin, collected 16 saves in the net.
Women’s volleyball splits at quad match
The Penn State Lehigh Valley Women's Volleyball team hosted a PSUAC quad match at Grace Hall on the campus of Lehigh University on Oct. 15. Lehigh Valley dropped the first match with Penn State Brandywine 3-0 and won the second match against Penn State York 3-1 to split on the afternoon and improve to 11-9 overall and 7-7 in PSUAC play.
Sophomore Ebony Sanders led with 26 kills on the day and freshman Bobby Tubbs led with 31 assists. With two more conference matches remaining, Lehigh Valley is currently in sixth place with one game ahead of Greater Allegheny, who is 6-8. The top six PSUAC teams make playoffs.
Lehigh Valley will travel to Penn State Wilkes Barre at 7 p.m. Oct. 18 for a PSUAC conference match-up.
