Penn State Lehigh Valley’s Office of Career Services has been re-branded to the Office of Career Strategy, and one of their initiatives included the launch of Canvas Pride.
For the third consecutive year, rising seniors from Easton Area High School were given the opportunity to gain real-world work experience through the Easton Employability Experience, a grant-funded program brought about by a partnership between Penn State Lehigh Valley, Easton Area School District, the Lehigh Valley Workforce Development Board, and CareerForce.
The new academic year officially began on Aug. 21 at Penn State Lehigh Valley’s fall convocation ceremony. About 250 incoming first-year students and new transfer students were in attendance, along with faculty and staff of the Lehigh Valley campus.
The panel Ann Lalik served on was tasked with carefully considering the organizations’ service to the citizens of New Jersey through quality and creativity of programming, outreach and fiscal responsibility.
The retail industry is experiencing major changes as shoppers no longer distinguish between online and offline shopping. The Council for Retail and Sales (CRS) at Penn State Lehigh will shed light on these changes on Sept. 25 in the second of several "Meet the Experts" events.
