Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society and Penn State Lehigh Valley Athletics are co-sponsoring the event where attendees will run, walk or bike the 170 miles representing the distance from the Lehigh Valley campus to University Park.
Penn State Lehigh Valley has been named a Pennsylvania National Guard Associations "PNGAS Guard-Friendly School." The non-profit organization's mission supports members and veterans of the National Guard, and their families.
Knowing there would be no such thing as “business as usual” in the pandemic summer, Student Engagement Network (SEN) leaders offered 50 individual grants that would fund remote experiences with an emphasis on making a positive impact in the world.
Attendees will learn about the admissions and financial aid process, meet virtually with coaches, explore resources for off-campus housing options and take a virtual tour of the campus.
Jonathan Kukta, director of housing and food services at Penn State Berks, Lehigh Valley, and Schuylkill campuses was recently honored with the 2020 National Association of College Auxiliary Services East Rising Star Award.
