Penn State Lehigh Valley’s department of continuing education and outreach has received a grant to explore possible post-secondary educational opportunities in support of independent living and employment for students with intellectual disabilities in Pennsylvania.
In response to the growing coronavirus pandemic, orders from the state government and recommendations from global public health organizations, Penn State will hold its spring 2020 commencement ceremony via livestream on May 9. The virtual ceremony will recognize all Penn State undergraduate students and all graduate students in the Penn State Graduate School.
Municipalities don’t need to unleash a tweet storm to keep their citizens informed on the social network. In fact, according to Penn State researchers, municipalities that focus their tweets tend to have higher engagement with the citizens who follow their accounts.
Forty-five different for-credit courses are available for online completion this summer. Six for-credit in-class courses are also available, pending the status of the global outbreak.
