Along with their professors and instructors, 35 Penn State Lehigh Valley students got to see new parts of the world and expand their learning and understanding of course material during a short-term study abroad program over spring break.
In a study of how incoming first-year college students perceive computing and computer majors, and who influences those perceptions, most students had positive feelings about computing and computer-related majors and jobs. However, gender and socioeconomic status seemed to play a role in whether parents shaped those perceptions.

The Penn State Lehigh Valley Communication Society hosted its third annual Communication Day conference on Feb. 26 at the Lehigh Valley campus. The theme of the conference was “Click to Connect: New Media, New Messaging.”
