Faculty members from five campuses gathered for a retreat in York, Pennsylvania, in early September to work on writing and teaching projects in a quiet setting that offered few distractions.
When students enter the library at Penn State Lehigh Valley, they are now greeted by several lounge chairs and working spaces overlooking the courtyard. This new space allows for 12 students to comfortably work and study.
The Penn State Lehigh Valley Alumni Society is accepting orders now through Friday, Sept. 27, for its Berkey Creamery ice cream sale. Proceeds from the sale benefit the Alumni Society First-Year Scholarship Fund, which provides financial assistance to outstanding students enrolled or planning to enroll at Penn State Lehigh Valley.
The free viewing party includes the big game shown live on the Levitt Pavilion’s large outdoor television screen plus food and drink specials, and a visit from the Nittany Lion and more.
National Coffee with a Cop Day is Oct. 2, and Penn State police officers are celebrating by giving away coffee and snacks at 22 campuses across Pennsylvania.
Athletes interested in playing competitively at Penn State Lehigh Valley are invited to an Athletics Open House from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 14.
