Community members will have the opportunity to become a Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) who assists others in recovery from substance use disorders through Penn State Lehigh Valley's CRS program.
Accepted students and their families are invited to attend one of three Accepted Student Programs in 2019. Presentations will cover topics such as next steps, financial aid, academics, and more. Tours of the campus also will be provided.
Offered by Penn State Lehigh Valley, Lehigh Valley LaunchBox, and Perkiomen School, the Teen Entrepreneur Challenge is 10-day summer camp for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors interested in developing the foundation for a successful business or product idea. The 2019 program will run from July 8 to 17.
High school and transfer student-athletes and their families are invited to attend Penn State Lehigh Valley's Athletics Open House to learn more about playing competitively in college and explore he campus' athletic programs. The open house will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 26, at the Lehigh Valley campus.
The Arts Project 2019 sessions, including public offerings in 3D printing, papermaking, drawing, ceramic tile and jewelry-making, will take place from Jan. 22 to April 18, 2019.
A Thanksgiving tasting event was hosted at Penn State Lehigh Valley on Nov. 14. About 50 students, faculty and staff came to the event, which was sponsored by the Penn State Lehigh Valley Global Student Organization.
