The Campus Arts Initiative, a project of Penn State’s Strategic Planning Seed Grant program, has announced the first eight artist collaborators, which were selected from the more than 158 applicants who responded to a national open call.
At Penn State alone, there are approximately 300 College of Education alumni working in various capacities across multiple campuses, colleges and administrative units. Regardless of their positions, which include professors, managers, administrative assistants and chancellors, they agree that their degree from the college has helped them in their career.
Nichola D. Gutgold, professor of communication arts and sciences at Penn State Lehigh Valley, co-wrote a book with Abigail S. Kennedy, lecturer in English at Penn State Abington, titled “Madam President: Women Who Paved the Way.”
Lehigh Valley LaunchBox continues its educational event series focusing on the unique challenges and victories of female entrepreneurs called “LaunchBox Ladies: From Passion to Profit” with a program on Thursday, June 6.
