10-year-old entrepreneur reflects on support from Lehigh Valley LaunchBox

Bill Spence, chairman, president and chief executive officer of PPL Corporation, will be the featured speaker at Penn State Lehigh Valley’s 2019 commencement ceremony to be held May 4 at 10:30 a.m. at the ArtsQuest Center at SteelStacks in Bethlehem.

The Campus Arts Initiative, a project of Penn State’s Strategic Planning Seed Grant program, has announced its first eight partner locations.

The grant will be used to support programming of Lehigh Valley LaunchBox.

Fatzinger and Haines joined forces to endow an Open Doors Scholarship in support of Penn State Lehigh Valley students.

"Fiber Deconstructed: Alison Bessessdotter, Jill Odegaard, Barbara Schulman" will be on display Jan. 21 to March 24 in the Ronald K. De Long Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley. The exhibition explores diverse approaches to textile and fiber arts.

The Community Gallery at Penn State Lehigh Valley presents “Beyond Batiks” featuring works by William Allen Arts Academy students. The exhibit runs Jan. 21 to March 23. An artist reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Jan. 23.

During the December 2018 ceremony, 30 Penn State Lehigh Valley practical nursing graduates received their certificates and pins to signify successful completion of the program.
